On, July 31, 2026, the Institute of Real Property Valuers in Rwanda (IRPV) convened its Electoral General Assembly at the IRPV Assembly Hall in Kigali to elect a new Board of Directors and internal committee leadership.
Before the balloting commenced, candidates contesting various governance positions presented their manifestos to the assembly. Nominees detailed strategic visions focused on enforcing International Valuation Standards (IVS), expanding Continuous Professional Development (CPD) programs, advancing market research and land reference pricing, and strengthening professional ethics across Rwanda’s real estate sector.
Following candidate presentations, members cast secret ballots organized in designated voting groups. Counting was conducted through a transparent, multi-step verification process supervised by the Electoral Committee. The assembly concluded with the official declaration of election results, confirming the re-election of Dr John Mugisha as Board Chairperson for a new three-year mandate, alongside newly elected board officers and committee heads.
